Honestly, there’s so many moments in my life I wish I could just return to, over and over. The only way I’ve ever been able to do so, is through an image. While wanting to capture my memories and hold them forever, I also see photography as a way to capture more than just past events.
I believe that there’s beauty in all things. It’s all a matter of how you perceive them. By taking a photograph, I can represent the way I see it, and express what I find so lovely about that particular object, or person, or idea. It’s a silent way of showing my point of view, I suppose.
And what’s best, is I get to turn around, and look at all of your images, as well as everyone else’s on Tumblr, and see how the world looks through your (lens) eyes.
